The Virginia Mason Downtown Yakima Mile has selected to support the YAKIMA SCHOOL DISTRICT on their COMMUNITY SCHOOLS VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAM.
The programs goal is to provide Yakima School Districts 16,000 students with a structured and safe place to hang out after school and prevent violence before it starts. Students can participate in sports, activities and tutoring until 6:00 p.m.
The Virginia Mason Downtown Yakima Miles partnership with Yakima School Districts Violence Prevention - Positive Youth Development program, will have a positive impact on the children and families of today, but also the future for us all. Registrants will be able to donate a sum of their choice during the registration process. It is our sincere hope that can join us!
